River and Prairie Storyweavers (RAPS) is a non-profit, 501c (3) groups of STORYTELLERS located in the Kansas City, Missouri area. The mission of RAPS is to support the art of oral storytelling and the people who practice this art.
RAPS has two meetings per month:
First Thursday of every month from 7:00-9:00 PM:

In addition to monthly meetings, RAPS provides storytelling opportunities and workshops.
Membership:
While the majority of out members are located in the Greater Kansas City area, we have members across the country (and even around the globe!).
Annual membership dues for RAPS are $25 per person or $35 per family. RAPS membership gives you access to discounts, workshops, teller opportunities, and a great networking community.
